Re: Military Thieves
Sorry to hear about that . I will tell you that the hobby shop on Pendleton was run by Civilians and there were many civilians that ended up using the place. Don't think the civis' don't know what goes on in the hobby shop. There have been instances of employees calling and telling their buddies what is there and them coming on base and getting what they were told is there. Lets just hope that that it wasn't another member of the military. Good luck!

Re: Military Thieves
When I was in the service, I never owned anything nice. Too many dirt bags in the service when i was in, I can't even imagine now.

Re: Military Thieves
Too bad to hear of your loss. Back in 1969 stationed in Ft. Carson we had a gang of GIs that were stealing batterys. I guess things never change. You got it and they want it.

Re: Military Thieves
Sorry about your loss. Thieves really pi$$ me off too. I remember that exact shop (if they haven't built a new one) I changed a motor in an S-10 Blazer in there.

This is BS, you guys put your life on the line (anyone can be shipped out, even if they haven't yet, so even the cook in the military deseaves out gratitude) and someone has the n#$t$ to steal from you, I think there is a vary special place in H#LL for this guy. If you bought the motor complete, contact the seller for a bill of sale and picts you have of it before along with a list of the "new" parts and there price, from that they can derive the value of the stolen items. Good luck and I hope this chokes on that stuff and speeds his arrival to H#LL!! Last edited by 70rs/ss; 04-16-2008 at 08:24 PM. |
