Hello, I'm Ashton from midwest Illinois. I'm a fresh driver, just getting my license about a month ago, but me and my dad have been building a truck for a couple years now. The truck was hoped to be done by my sixteenth, but I'm sure you all know about "deadlines"... The title says '68 chevy, but all that belongs to the title is the frame. The cab is a 69 CST, the front clip is from a 68 GMC, and the bed is a 96 fiberglass stepside. The truck is in the bodywork stage right now and we hope to lay some paint in a couple weeks. The suspension is stock, but when a little money rolls my way, i'd like to lower it with a bag system, as well as drop spindles and disk brakes up front. I've been watching this site lately and found some good info. It looks like there are a lot of people that know what they are doing on here so i hope to learn some things...
