Dash Pad
I removed the dash pad today and was just going to leave it off but looked at it and it has a metal liner underneath, so I stripped the padding away.
Thinking of finish stripping and paint and return to truck. |

With the holes filled (would probably be easier to roll a piece of sheet metal and weld it in), I think it would look great. Cant say I am a fan of the way it is now. The dash pad as a "safety" feature always makes me laugh. You should use 3 pt belts to begin with

You need to talk to my friend Steve who lost his two front teeth in the dash of a '64 Impala. The dash has his teeth marks in it to this day...
