I won the lottery! Sort of...
I'm just kinda giddy tonight... I visited my mom out in Boulder,CO and she has a friend that lives out in the middle of nowhere on a mountain but her next door neighbor is resto-modding a '65 burb. He has this thing on a late model 2500HD chassis with the frame shortened, the 6 liter motor, big winch, big tires, light bars, the whole 9 yards. Anywhoo, sorry for making a short story long but I scored a pair of PERFECT hood hinges and springs, 2 z-bars, a set of clutch linkage parts, a VERY VERY nice original day/night mirror, and a stack of truck magazines from him for $25.00. I know some of you guys on here score entire trucks for 25 bones but I'm just excited and had to share with someone. It's my party and I can cry if I want to..

Lilred66 will be able to answer this no doubt but was the day/night mirror an option? I seem to recall many an original 4-5-6 mirror being standard without any day/night functions at all.
