Yo Jack!

Would any of you guys happen to have the factory Jack under the hood of your 1980? I was looking for one at the local bone yard but all the jacks have been pulled. A couple looked like they were from our trucks but no way to tell for sure.

$240 a ton for steel...mine went to scrap Just kidding, mine are both long gone on my 87 and 79.

I have one...somewhere...out of an 80 or 81 GMC. Problem is I have no clue where. Someone surely can help you out. Might take a month to find mine in all the endless clutter.....

I have one, factory 78... hasn't been used ever, haha... you can sort of see it...



Have to get new pics, had some underhood stuff done... won't be with the truck til June 1st though...

I had mine in my 77, till it got wrecked and sent one of the rods through the firewall, i doubt it was ever used, but last time i keep one there.

I know I still have mine, bolted in the factory place and I have used it a couple of times, I will take a picture, over the weekend.

It's funny that the orientation of the jack is different in all 3 pics in this thread. Sorry, couldn't resist commenting.

Side question, can you use the factory jack on a truck that has been lowered?
