It started with why is this wire hangin?

So today i wanted to check out the dash wiring on my truck since i saw a couple hangin wires. By the time i came in, i had almost the entire interior out, besides the dash pad and gauges, a broken seat belt bolt that i cant get out, and a bunch of wires in which i have no clue thier proper placement. If anyone has wiring diagrams for under the dash or knows a great way to get out a broken seatbelt - floor bolt, that would be great. Pics tomorrrow....

Re: It started with why is this wire hangin?

If everything works its probly old radio wires. As for the bolt you could try to drill it and easy-out it. Personally I'd drill it and tap it. Another thing you could try, heat it up and screw it out from the bottom with vise grips. Huh, you could even drill it, tap it for left hand threads, and remove it with a left threaded bolt. I dunno, there's a buncha ways it could be done.. The best way is to get it done!

Finally today i got it out. I tried my easy outs yesterday, those broke, so i tried some really nice bigger ones today from work, the tap handle broke in half, so i got fed up and just drilled through it with the drill for the 7/17 - 20 tap. I of course was off a little on the center so i kinda invaded the threads, so i opened it to a 1/2 - 13 thread and got a new bolt. I would have removed it from below but the blasted gas tank is in the way, lol...
