If I convert to a blazer tank, how far can the filler be from the tank? I have a 92 stepside box which has a filler on the box side about a foot behind the stock cab filler. Will it be safe to run hose to a blazer tank in the back of the truck. Is this hose flexible? The truck is a short box so the distance wouldn't be that far. Do you know what I mean? Anyone?

Might consider using small diameter exaust pipe for the run and hoses on the end connections.

On mine, I filled the factory hole and welded in another. Welded it in right above the the tank fill on side. I used a fill door from a 79 mustang. Nice and flat. I don't have any pics to show but maybe it will give you some more options.

I agree with crazy4chevs; I've used exhause pipe (aluminized) for the same thing; I would use the pipe if the distance is anything more than two feet.
