Looking for a old Chevy custom dash
Im looking for a dash out of a old chevy car or even a old ford . Im wanting to do a custom install in my truck . I have been looking on craigs list ebay and junk yards cant seem to find one that is not trashed already. If any one has done a custom dash in the past I would like to see pics. Or if you have a dash laying around in a junk car send me some pics if you would want to sell it .
Thanks in advance |

Re: Looking for a old Chevy custom dash
Well cfranklin013,
I'm new here but I did make a custom dash for my C10. It was too heavy made from fiberboard but wrapped in fur was a nice look. I'm now making another one out of fiberglass but I'm moving very slow in the process. Check the photos I uploaded for ya. If I can do it you can too. Loco |

I thought about the pro street look . But use aluminum sheet ,I would have to by a sheet metal brake and sheer . More money to spend wife is asking will I ever be finished with this project . I guess I should tell her the truth it will never end .

Fiberglass, aluminum foil, cardboard, sandpaper, respirator, and a can of spray paint you can make any interior panel you need. Don’t forget to let the fiberglass dry before you put the speakers in.

Re: Looking for a old Chevy custom dash
have you looked at a Covans classic dash? I just put one in my 75 with auto meter gauges.I love it. They come predrilled or blank. I too was going to do the fiberglass route but decided my time was worth the $250. Covans has them in black , brushed aluminum, and carbon fiber. Good luck bro
