tell me about these headers.

edelbrock shortie headers #6527

they are nickel chrome plated, which is what i want


what else can you guys tell me about these headers? they say they are for trucks with the A.I.R. which i dont have anymore, or wont have on my new engine.

if they are for AIR and you dont have it ...you dont want them. They should have a PN for the non AIR equipped vehicles.

they do have one for a TBI unit w/o air and w/ cat

i'm sure you know this but they will trun a bronze-goldish-rainbow type color once they get hot a few times vs. ceramic coatings which wont' change color.

yeah, i've seen dave's JBA shorties and thats one of the reasons i like them.

if i dont get the edelbrock ones i want, i'll probably end up getting the ones you have ryan

yep...mine are kinda ugly now. I want to get them coated or chromed now!! haha I know that chrome will discolor some but it looks pretty cool
