Bed sides and body panels

Hey everyone, I need some help.

In my neverending search for a SWB Fleetside box I have been looking at building a brand new aftermarket box. Problem is I cant find any place that has all the panels I need, and if I do they are all made in Taiwan junk.

I know Ill have to do some "adjusting" on these aftermarket panels but I just dont want to waste money on some that are POS.

Anyone know of quality repro panels that I can buy a whole box?

Thanks

Ok thats a blow to my plans lol. Is it possible to build a whole new box from aftermarket panels? If so which company do you recommend?

Re: Bed sides and body panels

I don't believe all the parts are availible to do the entire box. If its from TriPlus they do not offer them right now. We DO sell the box side skins with no inner panels. the floors are availible the front panels and wheel houses and tailgates are also. No one is making the inner panels to my knowledge. OEm beds are still out there and I would still try and find a good used one. We sell and work with aftermarket parts every day. I''ll be honest with you,Its hard to beat the OEM parts on older trucks. We ***** alot about the aftermarket parts and we sell the best availible like most but we make them work.
You can use a late model floor in a SWB or a step side also.
Mike

Re: Bed sides and body panels

I don't sell bedsides anymore, and I concur with Mike on the availability.

Re: Bed sides and body panels

There is an outfit in Ontario Canada called Pros Pic that sells complete new beds for our trucks. If I remember right they cost about $3000 plus shipping.

Wow thats insane. Ok then what is the best area to look for used shortboxes in good shape? And how much can I expect to pay for a good box?

Thanks
