I forgot i even had this, I picked it up 10 or so years ago, I was going to move my tank way back then and use this.. Never got around to it.

I wonder if IT is worth anything?

Maybe I'll try E-bay and see.

Isn't that a chrysler Pop-top fuel door? I had one similar to that on my '70n Challenger R/T. Mine was painted black around the word "Fuel" and in the fins around the trim. I've seen them on Chargers, Roadrunners & R/T's too.

No it's not glass, It is in fact what bouncytruck says,

It is off of a MOPAR, Early 70's model. Like the one that went up in smoke on Bullitt... Dirty harry and crazy mary,(or was it the other way around, crazy Harry & Dirty Mary?)

This one looks like it probably had the black in it also where you said yours did. I can see faint black shading in around the "FUEL" letters.

I don't know what it's worth, I was hoping some of you might have an idea.

Beings it's complete and in great shape like that, and includes the trim ring, I'd say 50 bucks, probably more. Awesome piece

If there is no pitting in the chrome, I say that 68 stepside is about right. There weren't too many of those things made back then and most of them I've have had the chrome pitted and cracked. Isn't there a mopar board where you could get a feel for the price?

Ron,I bought a 4x4 from a mopar guy last week .We were talking parts and he mentioned paying $75 for a late 60 early 70 mopar gas cap of some sort a couple of days before I picked up the truck.Price all depends on the buyer.How bad do you want it.There are some very dedicated Mopar guys out there.To bad it's not a 67 SS 350 cap, you could sell it to me.

There is some minor pitting on it,it's more of a spider webbing then pitting though.

And down in the fins, it has ten or twelve little pits.

Something like this is tough, one guys opinion of, "it's great for a daily driver" and another's two different things.

If I still wanted to run it, I wouldn't hesitate for the street, but I wouldn't want to show with it.. Does that make any sence?

I think E-bay is the way to go, Then none of you guys are P!SSED at me, if it's not up to your expectations.
