Brake booster clarification......
I'm looking at putting a power booster on my truck. I'm wanting something a little newer for two reasons. 1- I don't have the brackets for the stock style. 2- I want something that fits closer to the fire wall.
I've searched about 15 pages on this site including this FAQ and have some unanswered questions, if we can get enough good info on this subject hopefully it can be moved to FAQ. I'm thinking I would like something like C10-Drivers (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=brake+booster) - #6. ls1powered67 had a real nice set up, but can't find the picture. So what is the difference in the 1/2 ton units and the 3/4 tons units? IIRC the 3/4 are small diameter and are duel diaphragm? Is there a preference for street applications? Anyone know of a good booster to use that can be made to fit without allot of work (just short of redoing the studs on the fire wall .)

Re: Brake booster clarification......
I have a 3/4 ton booster with a 1/2 ton master and its been on there for about 5 years with no problems. It stops real good, watch the first time you step on the pedal you might bump your head.
