Re: What shocks are y'all runnin
I originally ran Tuff Country shocks on my 69 K20 when I did the first 4" lift. I think they had a base model and an upgaded and I had the upgraded model. Not an impressive shock, but not a bad shock either.
I currently have Rancho RSX9000's on my 69 and I do like the adjustability - you could feel a difference. However, once I got them where I liked the ride, I've not had any reason to adjust them again. Did I see a huge difference between the Tuff Country shocks and the RSX9000's? Really hard to say as I now have taller lift springs and now a swapped in BBC so I can't do an apples to apples comparison. I'd buy as good of a shock as I could comfortably afford but these trucks are big, heavy and a bit bouncy when lifted so don't expect a huge difference.
