Inside Door & Window Handle ??
I'm pretty sure they do, but will all 50's thru 60's truck door & window handles fit on our trucks?
i.e. are the shaft slots the same for all those years?

Re: Inside Door & Window Handle ??
I`m about as sure as you are.I know they swap around in the 60/70s cars and trucks.I have an old pair of winders (40s) I should check that with.

Re: Inside Door & Window Handle ??
Yes, they will. My wife's truck has tri-five Chevy cranks and handles.

Re: Inside Door & Window Handle ??
The details keep me awake at night, you know, window cranks, steering wheels, etc.

Re: Inside Door & Window Handle ??
You are very interior swapability focused .I have a sun visor question...
Those are the handles I have.I had a`55 wagon, they`re left overs.I know when I bought that car there was no glovebox door latch and it drove me crazy having the door lay open. The hole looked the same as the button on my`55 1st pickup.Sure enough, the same part. Then,I looked at my`71...yep,same-same.This is one thing that got me hooked on Chevys/GMs. My`67 GMC will have a`65 car wheel,`55 door handles,`69 Camaro in dash tach, and I have a Delco AM out of who knows what that fits perfect.I`m having it rebuilt into an AM/FM-CD/MP3/XM ready 180w stereo. The radio was in my`72 K2500 when I bought it.

Re: Inside Door & Window Handle ??
I know what you mean, I love how many parts interchange on Chevys. They're like big Lego sets.

Re: Inside Door & Window Handle ??

The same glove box locks that fit our trucks were used in all GM cars from 1940-1957 and GM trucks from 1954 to 1972. The only difference is after 1966 they used a different keyway. LockDoc

Re: Inside Door & Window Handle ??
Thanks Leon,I have a thing for locking latches, too.Good to know since most lock guys prolly don`t know that (unless there`s some kind of list you use).
Another thing about GMs and swapping parts around. They look right when you do it.
