16.5 X 8.25 wheel cover question
I posted this over on blazer section but I have these wheels and want to know the correct dog dish cover for them. They are the clip style as you see and clips measure about 7 or so inches across. I would like to have a pic so I could know what to start looking for. Thanks!

Re: 16.5 X 8.25 wheel cover question
The caps for those centers/bolt pattern are what fits...`68-earlier 1/2t clip type, like found on 15" and optional/earlier 16" rims.

Re: 16.5 X 8.25 wheel cover question
Special K is right '68 and earlier clip style cap. Here is one for you...3/4 ton left and 1/2 ton cap right. Second pic is a '68 Stainless cap...'67 was orange. They have painted versions in whitel and orange for '67 and silver, red and black in '68. You can also use caps back a few years as long as they are the clip style.
You will notice that the raised lip on the back of the cap is approximately 8 in. in diameter. The 3/4 ton cap is about 9.0 inches.

Here is a better pic to show the raised back section of the clip style cap.

Re: 16.5 X 8.25 wheel cover question
That rim was designed in the 60's for hubcaps that attached to clips (1968 and older heavy duty 1/2 tons). If your handy with a die grinder, you might be able to cut the ring out of the pre 68 hub (1/2 ton clip ) a JB weld it to the back side of a 69-72 1/2 ton hub.

Re: 16.5 X 8.25 wheel cover question
Not on K-models to the best of my knowledge. You see Napcos and they just have the rears. On the factory Ks there were no caps offered until `69 when the new style,69-75,caps came out and where the new design outer "nub" type.I`ve seen alot of guys cut out the older caps for the front hubs and use them.Pretty darn sure no factory caps offered, though.
