69 SWB with 6 Lug
I am contemplating buying a really nice 69 SWB, but it has the 6 Lugs bolt pattern. I really didn't want to have to convert, but I want a really nice wheel and the wheels seems to look awkward in the 6 Lug patterns.
1. How much trouble to convert? Is it just as simple as swapping the axles in rear and hubs in front? How much work really involved? Pics welcome. 2. If I decide to leave it as 6 Lug....can someone post pics of any good-looking 6 Lug wheels? Or just referring me to a brand is fine. I had a 72 SWB, but sold it to build our new house, so I am now anxious to get back into the club. Thanks for any help guys! Pics of my old truck attached....

Re: 69 SWB with 6 Lug
^^^ those are nice rims!!
yes, you will be severely limited on the rim choices. about the only choice you have are Torq Thrust ST's and a handful of others that will more than likely need some type of spacer. I've stayed simple with my 6 lug wheel choice. I originally had 'Vette rallyes, and now have 15 x 8 smoothies on the way (like below). I like the old school look, call me nostalgic... probably not much help, but there's my .02

I remember when you sold that beauty! I like the look of Boyd Coddington 6 luggers! Really like the Junk Yard Dogs!http://www.billetwheel.com/wheels/
