Re: air management?
Its a really nice system if your looking for something easy to use and also want a digital display. The shop near me uses it a lot and I may look into it some more. That said I wouldn't buy that whole kit. I would just buy the screen/remote and the psi sensors and get everything else you need seperate just so you can customize and maybe save some coin.

Re: air management?
good stuff fbi valaves, airride stuff,cg vaves i personaly like the analog gages a little mor acurate and plane switches i uses eletric window rockers there the best. junk do not buy yhe air comand from auto loc!!! junk!!! in less you want to spend 800 and be driving along and have the computer have a glitch and lay your truck out at 50mph and destroy your body!! and those guys are a$$ holes! i lold them about the glitch and theye said well shi$ happends.. ''whats up with that?'' i asked for a refund and they straght up said no. there servic sucks!! so i would try any thing else if you want digital you can use autometer oil pressuse sending units thats all theye r. and get a didital unit from any one you want. i have the kp dual needle anlogs and thats how ill all ways do all of my bagged trucks for now on.

Re: air management?
I am interested as well. Already have the dual viar 380C kit and planned on 8 3/8" smc valves w/ analog gauges, but the whole setup will be around 900-1000 and for one to two hundred more to have digital control seems like a deal. Which is a better valve? 3/8 smc or these on this kit? Which would require less maintenance on the valves?

If you order this kit be aware that you will need to order 4 more air fittings for your bags. If you play with the system a lot then you'll want another compressor. Me, I just like to ride low and park lower ...so the 380 is fine. I can answer any q's you might have... |

One a side note, a guy had a good recommendation on a fast/cheap fix for a system too fast for your liking. (Until you have the time to run hard line since this is a DD for you) Install a ball valve or similar in line on the way to each bag and you can fine tune the amount of air each bag's getting and slow them down. Haven't tried it, but sounds like a quick and easy fix that would work. |

Re: air management?
I haven't put that many miles on it. Maybe 2000. I did have one fill valve leaking by at first. It would air one corner up slowly overnight, but that seems to have fixed itself. I've drained the water from the tank a couple times, but I have yet to touch the valves. I should probably look into that. I don't remember seeing anything about maintenance of the valves in the manual.
I actually went with 1/8" orifices on the dumps and necked a small section of the fill lines to 3/8" (still too fast up for me). Last edited by Frizzle Fry; 07-16-2008 at 12:07 PM. |

Re: air management?
frizzle. you mention draining the water from the tank. I've been runing my bags for over a year and have never drained, or even considered that there may be water in the tank.
how did you go about draining it? i'd hate to unmount my tank unless i absolutely had to. and to second what you said about slow leaks fixing themselves, i also had a valve "stick". it would stay open for about second after i let off the switch. it also seemed to fix itself after a couple days. also, i had a small leak between the tank and the compressor. it would drop from about 160 psi when i parked at night to about 120 in the morning. after sitting for the winter and not getting used, it seems to be fixed as well. now i can let it sit for over a week (doesn't happen often) and it will have nearly the same psi. regarding the 1/2"... 3/8 seems to work well for me. i agree it's a bit fast on the fill, but i've gotten used to it. It is kinda fun though when you're at a light and you want to scare the crap out of the ricer next to ya |

Re: air management?
Tha the air management kit I have. I am running 3/8 lines, one 400c compressor and Airide ride-pro 4-way manifold. I haven't installed the management system yet but it looks very straight forward and it looks like a well built kit. If you keep an eye on my build I will be installing it in the next week or two, after I build my watts link.

If you have any plugs on the bottom of your tank you might want to put a manual valve in there. Definately drain that thing! |

Re: air management?
I don't have experience with the controller, but I do have experience with Suicidedoors and would recommend them highly.
Interesting to note that Suicidedoors offers a better price on that setup than the manufauturers website: http://www.easystreetair.com/index.a...ROD&ProdID=692
