Got Bored Today.....
I got bored today so I went up to NAPA and got some semi flat black paint.

looks good man! bore out the back of the bowtie and add a strobe light to it, then paint the face a transparent blue
 look hella tight when you kick that up

That looks sweet. I like the looks of the blacked out grills on the 81-91's. The bowtie also looks good in gold as it looks as if it is floating in the air.
Here is a GMC Sub I put together for a friend a few years ago with a blackout grill. From the front it looked like the A-Team van sitting up on 35" tires. When the Sub got home to Detroit it got a full satin black paint job and now looks even better.

Thanks for the input guys.
As for painting the bowtie the same color as the burb goes, the burb's going to be painted all black next summer to include powder coating the exterior door handles as well as the front and rear bumpers black.
