How much would you guys pay?
I may have a chance to get a 71 Longbed Chevrolet. It an automatic 6 cylinder. Very little rust, and may have factory air (not sure) still runs fine, no smoke.
My question is how much would it be worth? I may get it and sell it, because I really want a 72 SWB. Thanks

Well is it a beater or a nice truck? There are a lot of factors that will move the values of the truck from $300 to $3000. So, maybe you should tell a little more about it. Maybe we can help more.

Not a beater, but not a real nice one eaither. Right now its in what I would call "daily driver" condition.

Well I've seen trucks with no motors, and decent bodies, go for $500, $100, $1000. I think with a motor, decent condition, I'd say $1500. Maybe more. Don't listen to me though, I just buy stuff that doesn't run.

I just gave 300 for a 72 LWB with a 307 and a 4spd. It's pretty rusty, but runs good and is straight. Pretty decent shape other than the rust and the fact that the company that owned it at one time cut the sides of the box for tool boxes. It all just kinda depends on where you live and what kind of shape the truck is in.......and whether or not the owner knows what he/she has.
