drive shaft carrier help
does anyone no how to uninstall and install a carrier bearing my old one came a part today and i can not get the old one off thanks for the help

I had to have my 72 carrier pressed off.....then pressed on?.......On my 67 ...Richard H...Found a bolt that i did not see.....came right off.....And then new one went right back on with no problems

most of them are press on, best bet is to take it to a drive shaft shop.

I just had mine replaced, its not worth the time or trouble to do it yourself. For $125 the shop replaced the bearing,and balanced my drive shaft.
