Question suicide doors "dropmember look alike"

would that rear kit they created work for my 70 2wd blazer. That kit looks really good except for those motor mounts. Those body mounts and core support look real clean. I dont know if you all seen that thread that was posted

no offense, but i don't think you're gonna get much advice around here concerning knock-off parts from SD

Re: suicide doors "dropmember look alike"

I would say that Nate's rear kit coming real soon is better than the SD rear kit. Mainly the 4-link, integrated bolt in notch, sleeved bags over the axle..... No man crush, just call it like I see it.

It would be best to verfiy w/SD if it will work on your application. Anything else would be speculation.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

SD made a kit? Is there a thread started about it yet?

From the sounds of it suicide doors is frowned upon on here, but I am fairly new, to the world of aftermarket providers for these pickups, and was curious if there tri4-link kits are any good? In particular the Universal Triangulated Super Pivot 4-Link Kit

No one is knocking suicidedoors quality, just their business practices concerning a certain new product. You can't go wrong with any suicidedoors suspension pieces in the quality department. That is a completely weld-on kit that will take some fab to make work on your truck, but the foundation is sound...

Triangulated 4 links are great. Especially if you want lots of lift. It all depends on the application and what you want it for. I went with a triangulated on my c10 because I like that I can get lots of lift and the axle changes the angle also. I know there's a video one of the guys over on SSM made of all of the different types of mounts and such for axles and how it affects the angles and such, can't find it, so if someone else can, please post, its very helpful.

Brendan

Edit: Sorry misunderstood question, ignore tangent there. Thought you were asking about triangulated 4 links in general.
I'm runnin the suicide doors setup, but next time I'd go with thebagshack.net next time as a friend owns it.
