Control arm replacement
I have started to tear apart my front end to rebuild. I got the upper control arm off and tried to install the new one. Is there a certain technique or trick to this?
The cap on one end might have cross threaded or started seizing up because I had to give it all I could to tighten it up. What about centering the control arm? Doesnt it need to be in the same spot? Im hoping I didnt screw something up, Im going to wait on the other three until I can figure something out.

Re: Control arm replacement
You'll have to get it aligned after you’re done. You do need to get it as close as you can for the drive to the alignment shop but it’s only as critical as the distance of your drive to that shop (i.e. 10 miles away very critical, around the corner not so much).
