Dolphin power windows
Well, what a day. Messed up a 4 dollar piece on my welder so I am dead in the water until it comes in. So, I went to the doors to put inthe power windows. If I am correct these will not mount to the inside door frame due to clearance issues. The curve in the door is making it so it appears to be that they will need to get mounted to the outside door skin. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The curve in the door caused the track to be pushed to the outside and hence out of alignment. Even with pulling in the top and pushing the bottem mount away toward the outside door skin. I hope someone can guide me here. Thanks guys.

Re: Dolphin power windows
Did you trim the length of the vertical channel?
Are your windows just the right length? Did you noch the inside door panel?

Re: Dolphin power windows
I went back at it after walking away from getting crazy with it. I spaced the bottom all the way away from the lower to pull the top close. I set the glass in the window as the felt is not in. It appears that the top of the track may need to get cut but the window fram around the glass is offset to the outside so the glas is more towards the inside. I think it will track fine. I am worried as in Florida we can tint out windows. I think the tint might scratch as it is now. But after trimming it might be fine. I know words don't describe the situation as well as pictures. I will try to post them tomorrow. But, I have my fingers crossed that it will be fine the way it is now. I did drill out the factory weld and relocate the support as it would have itnerfered with the track.
