New wheels arrived .
I bought a pair of TT2's from Classic87 a few months ago . I ordered a pair of 18x10 rears and they arrived today . I have to go pick them up tomorrow . I originally planned to run 275/60/18 rear tires but I noticed they make a 305/55/18 now in the same tread tire as I have for the fronts . I am still leaning toward the 275/60 but what do you guys think about the 305/55 for the rear ? It is the same height but about 1 inch wider . It will have 255/55/18 fronts on a 18x8 wheel . Frank

If they will fit, I always like bigger.

Re: New wheels arrived .
Frank...
Depending on the "back spacing" that you got on the rear wheels, the 305's may rub on the outer bedside lip. Also I would take in consideration the amount of "sidewall bulge" you will have with the 305's compared to the front tires. Your tire Rep. should be able to tell you that before ordering/mounting. If the above mentioned is okay... then I would install the 305's (the wider tires will look great from the back side). Anthony Last edited by CLASSIC87'; 02-13-2008 at 09:40 PM. |
