side opening tailgate
does anyone offfer a kit that would do this? has anyone on here tried?

was just reading a post on www.chevytalk.com about hidden hinges that were on a 57' nomad and they were using some hinges from a rod shop but i don't recall the name of the shop. check out the site their is some good pic's of the modification and the hinges look plenty heavy enough for your application.
