Rams horn exhaust manifolds

Does anyone know what year (or years) the passenger side rams horn manifold outlet curved to the back (versus dumping straight down). A friend needs one for a hot rod and was told they came on early trucks with 283s. Any help will be appreciated.

My 72 C10 has what your talking about. They go for about $140 a pair on ebay (new) and you can get used sometimes.
