fiberglass doors
ive seen all kinds of fiberglass body parts for the 73-87 c-10 i was just wondering if anybody has ever seen fiberglass doors? if so where can u buy them and how much?

www.usbodysource.com is the only place I've found where you can get all the body parts in fiberglass. Cabs, doors, tilt front ends, beds of all kinds.

Truckin' magazine did a build up of a 2wd shortbed fleet side years ago in the mid to late 90's using their body parts and lost somewheres between 900 to 1200 pounds off the truck. That is if I remember right.

Just for the needed body parts (cab, doors, bed, and dog house) it's $14,400, plus shipping, plus I'm sure months of lining things up, drilling holes, adding wooden supports, somehow getting the windows to roll up and down and the doors to open and shut... plus a paint job! Yikes!!

I have one of their front tilts. Really good quality, I plan to get another one for my 73.
US Body built a red stepside that was all fiberglass ( it is documented on the site) and they said they got rid of 1200lbs, so you would be looking at a 2600lb pickup.
