Lowered Coils to Bags?? 64 C-10
Im not sure if this question has been brought up before and I apologize if it has but here goes:
I lowered my 64 C-10 lwb fleetside, 2.5" in the front and 4" in the back using coils and shocks. Just wondering if I can just remove the coils and install the bags or do I have to replace the shocks as well? Will the stock height spindles work? Or do I have to change them as well?? Just kinda throwing around some thoughts in my head and I am wondering if anyone has done this before. I am not looking at a C- notch or anything that drastic. I just really like the idea of adjustable ride height and being able to set it where "I" like it. Can you just buy the bags and brackets without the shocks? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Re: Lowered Coils to Bags?? 64 C-10
did you buy 4 inch drop shocks? or stockers?
it should not be a problem as far as bottoming out. pulling out the top seems to be more of a concern as most shocks are built to only have a few inches above ride hieght . i think you will be fine if your just planning on a low and a little lower stance.
