Re: What did you get done? 08/24
I'm building a shed, 8x12, mostly from scrap lumber and cheap scavange. That will let me move some of the stuff out of the garage and get back to work on the toys. Had to mow the lawn (first year ever it didn't go dormant). Bought 2 new batteries for the diesel (the old ones are truely dead) but didn't get to putting them in yet. Gonna finish the shed this coming weekend, put my lawn and garden in it, then use theold shed for my parts collection.

Trav,... I just picked up a copy today. Congrats on a great feature! To me that would be like winning the lottery. Congrats to Frizzle Fry also on his ex-Suburban/Tahoe feature.

Thanks guys!
This was one thing that I could do for my mom, I know she not here to see it. But I know she knows that we are thinking about her. Thanks, Trav

Re: What did you get done? 08/24
It was kind of a busy weekend for me (obviously a busier week, seeing that I'm just now looking back at it)
Friday I worked on the truck a little bit, started modifying bracketry to get the rear bumper mounted, and just cleaning up some stuff in general. Saturday was the busy day. A friend came over, who has his 2000 Camaro at the shop. It's a drag radial, LS1 turbo deal. We did the mock up and built a mold for a new 4" carbon fiber cowl hood. That was a very fun experience, and I can't wait to get down and dirty with the carbon fiber and learn a few things about it. A few lightweight carbon fiber items may start showing up on the 87 in the future Sunday was kind of an unwinde/homework day. I messed around with the bumper on the 87 a little more, trying to ensure that it's sucked up to the bed nice and tight-like.
