Bucket seat cover question

Anyone know if a set of replacement seat covers can be bought for factory 77 buckets ? If so where ?

Re: Bucket seat cover question

Chris (CaptKaos) sells them.

I recovered mine, was really happy with them. You will have to re-use your emblems if the seats currently have them.

Daaang those look sweet Jeff. Hmmm! I may have to go in my attic.

Jeff, what condition was your foam in, or did you replace it? Sorry but I can't remeber.

Too late Ken , I snuck up there already . No , I am just kidding but I do have that pair of seats I bought from Jonboy . Only thing is they are blue and I have been thinking about red buckets in the 78 . I probably wont mess with those seats since the covers were pretty nice already , but I might look for a set to put in the black truck . It is just a thought and I will probably leave the original seat in place since it is not in need of any work . It would look nice though .

Re: Bucket seat cover question

Yeah, I still kick myself for not picking that set up. That's alright, I did get a set from another friend. They aren't as clean as the ones you have but I got a really good deal.

The problem is the cost of the foam is outrageous. Even with a buddy deal through Chris, it's expensive. Couple that with the other mods it will force me to do and it turns in to a really pricey mod.

But it sure is tempting, especially if I find a nice console...

That friend was me.

As Chris stated, the foam was fine on my seats, so I just recovered them. Guys, buy your covers from Chris, great price...and a decent guy.

Re: Bucket seat cover question

I remember the ones you bought now ,I think . Were they green or something ? I should have kept the second set I had but they are beautiful now and are going into a well deserving truck .

Re: Bucket seat cover question

No, Kens were maroon, the green ones I sold to another member. I think I have passed along about 4-5 sets of buckets seats here.

I just wish they were more available in our area . I have only seen one truck with them in it originally around here .

That is correct, and thanks again for taking good care of me.

As you can see from the pics, the foam in my seats doesn't look that bad, I just think it should be replaced while I can.

Its only money, just step up and get them both. Just pull it out of your mattress or pillow.

Are you selling these seats? If so how much and will you ship them (to Texas, not Canada)?
Thanks, John
