Double Freakin Score!!!

Man, I seem to have run into some good luck!

Today I went to the junkyard and found a good sport bumper (with brackets ), a basically brand new tail light, and this GMC high sierra tailgate panel! All for $40!

Then I drove about 20 minute north of me and met a guy and bought a full grill, rad support, headlights, wiring harness, driver fender, and driver inner fender from what I think was an 87 burban.... ONLY $60!

Here's pics for proof... I just can't believe my luck!

Re: Double Freakin Score!!!

congrads.

I scored this week again, I had a 350 small block, given to me this week, the only thing it doesnt have is the Alt, starter, and flywheel. But the truck i was given a couple of weeks ago has all that on it. Oh and this is a known good motor. I still have to fire it up. I am now on the look out for a dually bed that I can score for next to nothing or even better nothing at all.

Tell me about it! Funny thing is that the guy only wanted $50 for the grill/support/fender stuff... but I didn't feel right, so I told him I didn't have a $10 and gave him 3 $20's.

Man, but installing that thing tonight was a biatch!

Re: Double Freakin Score!!!

Hey, I was in Lawton, Oklahoma last year and decided to go salvaging. There is a place in Temple, OK (in the middle of nowhere) I believe the name was Smith's Salvage...anyway, they cut me a great deal on parts...they have a lot of trucks as well, at least 30. I thought this might help you guys from Oklahoma and North Texas.

Re: Double Freakin Score!!!

We have alot of hidden out of the way salvages that only the locals know about....There is one in a lil town called Twin Oaks in NE OK almost by Arkansas that just rocks! Great deals and the guy will deal and trade. I just wish it were closer.
