frame mounted battery
Anybody have any pictures of their frame mounted batteries? I'm thinking that this is where mine is going to end up.

Re: frame mounted battery
Mine's back-halfed and the battery box is on the right rear corner with access from inside the step fender. No pics handy.

Re: frame mounted battery
I mounted two batteries. One on each rail behind the cab. Though, my frame is custom built so I dont know if you have room there. I do suggest you install a battery kill switch somewhere that is easily accessible. When you lay your truck out, you can not get to the batteries. So, if you show indoors or somewhere that requires you to remove your battery cable, you can show them the kill switch. Also, install a quick charge connection somewhere. That way if you are laid out and your battery fails, you have a spot to charge it.

Re: frame mounted battery
yeah, I already planned on having remote posts... problem I'm having is I'm mounting my airtanks in place of the saddle bomb gas tanks, and they take up most of that space, I'm running full exhaust on the inboard of the frame, so that off limits... and I really don't want it behind the rear wheels. I'm thinking of mounting one of those small batteries that Jeg's sells and mounting that somewhere towards the front.

Re: frame mounted battery
Here is what Fesler did on his bad a$$ blazer. It was a custom built frame but i am sure you could build something to work.
