Windsheild lock trim
Anyone have any little tricks to help replace that. its a pain!

you can buy a special tool at any place that sell auto body supplies , Its for installing windsheild trimI bought one for like $20 , I had the trim on in like 15 minutes . No Pain !!!!

I installed alot of them just using a plastic stick that looks like a popsicle stick and a spray bottle with soapy water.I did eventually buy a tool also cuz i did so many of them

I use a paint stick sanded down so its round at the edges with a long smooth ramp from the thin end to the thick part.

The tool makes it a lot easier. It works kind of like a sewing needle. The lock trim slides into the "eye" of the needle and the edges hold the groove open for the lock strip to fit in. As with many jobs, the right tool does wonders.
