Any way to get steering wheel clean?
Whenever it rains or there is moisture in the air my steering wheel gets black stuff all over my hands. I've tried cleaning it before but that didn't seem to work. I thought about trying to clean it again and then maybe spraying some spray paint on it because right now the steering wheel doesn't have any paint on the edges of it where your hands rest and that's where the black stuff comes off at. What have you used to clean your steering wheel?

Re: Any way to get steering wheel clean?
Try rubbing alcohol. Worked on the steering wheel on my '73.

Re: Any way to get steering wheel clean?
I use Purple Stuff on mine but mine has full paint coverage. Still may help though. It's a pretty strong degreaser...
