255c Firestone 2500lb bag on front ?

Is there anyone running 255c 2500lb Firestone bags on the front ? I know 224c 2600lb bag is recommended . The reason I ask is that I bought a bunch of air bags from a buddy . It would be going on a 1973-87 C-10 . Thanks in advance .Pete

It will work, but you will have a nicer ride with the 2600# bags. Especially if you have a BBC. Just make sure your lower cups have a center hole as the 2500#s only have a center mount.

I've got it. Rode great, and had no issues whatsoever daily driving for 2 years and then occasionally driving for another 2 years.
