72 front bumper guard pics?
Anyone have a pic of an original front bumper guard. I'm looking for an original pair and would like to see what they actually look like. Thanks!

Re: 72 front bumper guard pics?
There are a few varieties and I`ve seen GM sell at least two designs. The earliest ones had smooth rubber and later ones had some little designs in the face of the rubber, like ribs. But,the original accessory gaurds were thicker, front to back, than the knock-offs.The upper part was not as massive on them.
Here`s a factory guard:

Didnt they make some real short ones too, or were they aftermarket? I saw one somewhere on here & they sure looked nice...

Re: 72 front bumper guard pics?
67-70 had the short bumperettes. (i think i saw that term in one of my books) 71-72 had the tall ones. The short ones were chrome or painted without rubber on them.
