May not have ever had a SPID. Many '67 GMC pickups didn't get them.

Is there another way to find how the truck left the factory? Was there a build sheet included somwhere in the truck? He is asking $5K for the truck. I have made him what I think is a fair offer and he does not want to back off of his asking price. However, he has money problems so maybe he will come around.

Build sheet behind or under the seat between the springs and foam...possibly.

$5,000 isn`t too bad,but would be better for less,for sure.I think it is high for the times,at least.
