fiberglass fenders
any experience? anyone have them? any opinions?

My rear stepside (67) has fiberglass fenders and I think they are just great. I would for sure have rhino lining srayed to the insides (half in. thick or so) to keep the rocks from pingin them. Without that protection a rock hitting the insides will cause a little star in the paint. I took mine and had them rhinoed as soon as I got them. They won't rust.

I've got fiberglass fenders on the front and rear of my 48, but that company is no longer around. Too bad because I've never had a problem and mine are not lined or coated.
I've heard good about Be-Bops. I've never bought anything from them so this isn't exactly and endorsment. Friends of mine have and like them. I'm Bob@ProAuto and I approve this message............. |
