Need Opinions Leave Side Trim???with PIC
My Blazer is going in to get painted Autumnwood Light Gold its from the 2000 Chevy line,Im debationg on if i should leave the side moldings(was gonna have them welded up)but new ones arent very expensive,no matter what it wont be 2 tone.entire body will be gold and the roof white.

If you were going to keep the two tone on the sides then I would definately leave the trim on. If you are going to paint the truck gold and the top white, then I would ditch the trim. The trim would look out of place if it was just sitting there doing nothing. My .02

Well its done now,even if i wanted to keep trim,Bodyman called today with his progress.Got all holes welded up,trying to convince me to lose the door handles,think ill keep them for now(since its a daily driver)got the new door,hood,and fender on,and the tailgate to open and close so he says with one finger.before it needed to be slammed,and kicked open.Tommorow the DA sander comes out!!!!

Should have kept the trim. Oh well, to each his own.

Rat, Wise choice, lose the moldings! I like the monochrome look. We are going to lose the cab moldings on my son's truck as soon as I perfect my welding skills. That color is going to be the same as your '62...right? Nice color!
