Another new guy
Hello everyone,
Just posted my first message in the 67-72 section and dropped in to say hi. If you read my post you'll see that I'm shopping for my first truck and am partial to mid sixties to early seventies models. I have a bunch of questions and this looks like a good place to be. Glad to meet you all. |

Welcome from Northern Cal. Biggest thing to stay away from when buying one of these trucks: rust in cab corner/rocker/floor. Everyone deals with it, but it sure takes time fixing all that stuff. So if someone is trying to sell you a "mint" 67 swb and they want 20K for it and it has nice shiny paint and a big block, and you don't look carefully, you may have a huge PITA on your hands.
