Post bad vibrations

My '74 k/20 has a bad hopping motion at about 40-45 mph when slowing down. I have a 6'lift and stock wheels or winter on but had to use a driveshaft from a 71-72 k/20 for length. I goes away when I get on the gas and comes back when I get on the brakes. It feels like the whole truck is bouncing up and down. any help appreciated THanks.

You might want to take your drive shaft in and have it checked for balance for the truck you put it in. If out of balance that will cause your hopping problem. If that is not the problem, it may be the front to rear allignment. Hope this helps.
