Re: any bagged 4wd?

Unless it's a smoking deal, don't buy it. If you want a 2wd, then buy a 2wd. Trying to convert it to 2wd can be done but it's not worth the hassle if you can avoid it up front.

Re: any bagged 4wd?

Search the suspension section for earlier this year/late last year. There was someone in the lower 48 down there that bagged their fathers '70-'72 half ton 4x4 had pics of the build up and finished project deflated, maxed out and at normal ride height. I know it's there but have yet to find it again.

Re: any bagged 4wd?

I think if you want a 2wd you should just find one. Would save a lot of time and hassle from trying to convert the 4x4 to 2wd. I have seen one 4x4 running around up here that has bags on it. Sorry no pics of it.

http://www.offroadonly.com/products/suspension/airock/

Its designed for Jeeps, but I can't imagine there isn't a work-around way of putting a system on a Blazer or 'Burban or pickup!

I remember reading the tread BLE 'BURBAN is talking about, worth your time searching. Give you an idea of the amount of work involved.

Re: any bagged 4wd?

To some of the misguided a 4x4 is desirable as is, or lifted, not lowered. Please don't

Re: any bagged 4wd?

Not many 2wds around here, there was a 78 in tongi, yellow or orange iirc.

Theres a difference between a bagged 4x4, and a bagged 2wd, you cannot slam a 4x4... well without severe modification. lol.

Ive seen the 2wd swap done before, if the bodys nice enough on the 4x4 it may be a consideration, and the right price. Lots of 4x4s i see near us.

Re: any bagged 4wd?

truth be known I prefer a slammed ride but for pulling my boat I need 4wd in the areas I go.......you could do it but by the time you were done youd have way more $$ into the truck than Im willing to spend.
