when i had my truck painted i decided not to have the top painted as well. i was thinking about repairing some cracks and then painting the top whit but was wondering if it would be exceptable to jus use some high end spray paint. if you have any suggestions or have done this before let me know how it went

Re: top paint methods

heck thats up to you
but i will say that new rustoleum in the funny looking can lays out a real sweet pattern if i were to rattle can something that i kinda wanted nice i would def chum up the extra coin and use it i redid an old school desk and locker for my sons room and used it and it ended up looking like it was single stage out of a gun
and stays the same pattern if the can was sideways or upside down

Re: top paint methods

I used a paint roller, ruff texture, with marine paint for the uv protection. Came out very nice and brought the texture in the top back. Can't tell it was rolled.
