Ticking In My Truck

Driving my truck today i started hearing a ticking coming from the engine. any ideas what this could be. it only does it when the truck is warm.

could be leaking headers or collectors if you have headers. or it could be worse and you could have a cracked flexplate like me

is it ticking or pinging?

well, the headers would do it most of the time, especially if its cold. and my flexplate doesnt make the sound unless its cold and i just started the truck or under mid-to-high acceloration.

i do not know what it is if its only doing it when its warm

My truck has done a ticking noise at about 1/4 throttle for years.
