I have always been one to have a liking for total system tonality over just BOOM. So I would tend to go for a singe 12 done correctly. This will help you achieve not only great lower frequency response, but also give you the chance to blend into the front stage with ease. I would shy away from Sony products, but thats just me. I would rather spend my money on some non-mainstream equipment as you will get more bang for the buck.
