56" spring question
What is eye to eye measurement of a 56" spring. I have some new 56" springs with a 4" lift and they measure 52" eye to eye. I'm getting a stock lift used set from a salvage yard and want to make sure I get the right ones.

Re: 56" spring question
I have a pair on a truck right now, and at ride height they are 55".
Youre 52" spring, is that at ride height or unsprung weight? The most important thing is to place youre shackle where you want it at ride height and than measure between youre shackle and youre spring hanger.

Re: 56" spring question
52" is unsprung. About 54" compressed. They are brand new so I expect they would relax a bit in time. So you're 55" sounds about right.
The shackles are just shy or where I'd want them as well.
