NP205 Vent Hole
Greetings
Replaced my seal on the rear output yoke of the NP205 TC. No oil on the drive way for a few days. Checked every day and it was dry. Then today it's bleeding around the seal and dropping oil. So I looked to see if maybe the vent hose is plugged. The question is I don't see a hose so where is the vent located ? Thanks 1972 K10 |

Re: NP205 Vent Hole
No hose, just a vent bung thing (White Arrow)...

Re: NP205 Vent Hole
found the vent hole, but how does it work. The cap feels as if there is a spring underneath. How do I remove for testing

Re: NP205 Vent Hole
Don't know about a spring. Just a crimped cover that should spin on the bung thing. Pretty basic sort of deal. It is a press fit into the casting. I managed to twist/lever my one out.
Bill.
