Smile Got me a M1009 to put the dana 60 and 14 bolt FF in:)

I had bought a m1008 back in Feb but it had wiring problems so I put the running gear in my 86 1/2 ton but it is to straight a truck to put on the trails. I am waiting on the EUC before I can go pick it up, said it didn't run but I have a parts truck to make it run, only 73XXX original miles too. So I am going to put the axles, 6" lift and the 37's under the 1009 and put the 1009 stuff back under my 86. This should be a good weekend project I should end up with a mean little off roader though. Maybe I can go get her before the end of Jan

There is a butt load of them for sale on gov liquidation, seems the military is getting rid of all them and the trucks. You would be mad if I told you what I paid for it becasue I wasn't paying what they bring on ebay which is 2 to 3 time more than what I paid for mine.

You will love running that Blazer. I am fortunate that my job has provided me with one to use. I love it.

Man that is one sweet CUCV. I'd love to have one but unfortunately all the depots selling on govliquidation are not in Texas. One day...one day!

Re: Got me a M1009 to put the dana 60 and 14 bolt FF in:)

When I got it I was told it had a rod knockin, the starter was missin also and I had a FI gas engine to go in it so I never tried to start it.When I pulled the conv cover all the converter bolts but one was layin in it.So I figured that was the rod knock.

I'm running a shackle flip in the rear and four inch Rancho springs in the front,it is just a mix of different things.I had to do a little fender trimmin also. The tires are 38.5-15.50-16.5's.

We rode Sat in Harlan KY and it got beat up pretty good, was pretty nice two years ago when I put it together.

Oh, if I only had some extra cash laying around.

BTW, if you have a spare M1009 fuel tank and skid plate laying around, I'm interested in buying one.

Well I got everything under it. I need some H1's so I can get them ugly aluminum wheels off. Those wheels look pretty good on my other truck but I hate them on the blazer.
