Re: Wheel & Tire Thread
Hey TexasJeff, fine looking truck there, wheels and all, (clicked on ur link and luv the stock-look) as well as 78Chevyrado's great lookin' truck too. But what I'm wondering is since I'm in the market for wheels/tires, is what are the fattest 16" tires I can put on stock rims for THE FRONT of an '86 GMC C3500 without trimming bodywork? I know that 265/75's and 285/75's fit the rears no probs but wonder if your fronts might rub the fender wells... just a bit? Looks tight to me. Any advice?

Fronts are Seibering Falcan P255/16OR15 on Convo-Pro 15x8
Rears are Hoosier Pro-Street Radials 31x18.5R15L on Convo-Pro 15x14 with a 4 1/2" backspace on a 44" flange to flange 12 bolt rear end. |

Re: Wheel & Tire Thread
no...the sevens have less and that is why I had to use them with the drop spindles..I think the 8's are centered as are the 7's...thus a half an inch to clear the a-arm. bigger wheels and this issue goes away

It finally quit raining after all the monsoon after snow crap we have been having so got one for you guys.... Its really gray, and those wheels are shiny i swear!!!
These are my snow tires ~ Wheels are Eagle Alloys 15X8s dont know the the B/S but they are what ever the 5on5 comes with... They were pretty cheap like $450 for 4... Tires are 225/70r15s Front, and 265/75r15 Rear. Summer shoes are 17" TTII... |
