Single Glasspack?

Hey guys. does anyone have any experience with a single glasspack right after the y pipe?

I bought a truck that had a single glasspack at the the rear axle . I didnt like it . Sounded like an old farm truck .

It is a short 18 inch glasspack. don't know if that makes a difference.

that is what my truck has with a 305, it is a bit back from the Y though.
it sounds good to me.
i will change it one day, but for now it works

theres one in place of the muffler on my truck... makes it sound like a turd sandwich... to me it doesnt really help the sound of the truck

That small pipe doesn't help the sound either.
Some like that poping and caping sound though, but I like a deep rumble.

Get on youtube and search "muffler" and you will see/hear just about every kind of exhaust, on every kind of automobille.

yeah, i'm kinda surprised, mine doesn't sound like a typical glass pack, it has more of a low rumble...

I have heard a few in my day I don't think that they sounded all that good to me.
